I have no objection to a “clean start” either… I will do it all over again if is solves my issues. Does that seem like a good approach, also.
I am not certain I wont make a mess out of moving the directory. Also, I want the Flash drive to have all the operating stuff on it. Would putting the /opt directory on the hard drive be consistent with this idea.
All of this is a result of my desrire to get the HDD to spin down. It appears that to do this I should be unslung to the flash so the Slug doesnt have to access the HDD when not in use. BTW, the HDD spins down fine when on, but no attached to the Slug.
