Ive gotten firefly working on Windows XP no problem, iTunes quickly connected and listed the whole library. However, on Server 2003, it gets stuck on the “connecting to..” screen and doesnt load the list at all. This happends with both my PC and Mac iTunes.
The log mentions this error:
2007-06-15 00:58:17 (8e109a71): Thread 0: could not read: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.The server doesent have a firewall running at the moment, so none of the ports should be blocked. Firefly has also scanned the directories and found all the music (around 8500 files).
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing the problem? Anyone else running firefly on Server 2003?

That usually means the client disconnected, but I’m not sure why it would.
Anything in the event log?
Is it the same music files as on the xp box? I ask because I’ve run it on 2k3 successfully.
