Try this command manually at the console of the machine:
/usr/local/bin/mt-daapd-ssc.sh “/mnt/hda/share/musik/niagara/la_verite/aux_coeurs_blesses.ogg” 0 251.000 “ogg”
If that doesn’t work, then you aren’t going to be able to transcode.
You’ll need oggdec at a minimum installed, as that is required to do the transcoding. Also, gotry going into /usr/local/bin/mt-daapd-ssc.sh and add full paths to the binaries it’s looking for. They may not be on your path when you run as a daemon.
