If that is the binary, then yes.

to check try

ls -l /opt/mt-daapd-svn-1586/src/mt-daapd

and it should show something like

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 350844 May 18 03:37 /opt/sbin/mt-daapd

This shows if it is executable. My fear is that is just a directory you listed.
