after some more month in use my installation has proved absolutely stable!!
I still use the old 0.2.3 version running on a slug with OpenSlug 3.1. It hosts now almost 6000 songs …
The CD towers in the living room have long gone … we bought a flat-screen TV that is connected to a tiny little fanless via epia system (http://www.zonbu.com). Can be controlled with a wireless keyboard!!
On that epia system I run the daap client “GIT” and listen to our music collection. Fast, stable, reliable!!
