Won’t Stay "enabled" on HP EX487 MediaSmart Server WHS

I have a brand new HP EX487 and I am unable to get the server to “enable”. When I select enable, then OK or Apply it will never show as enabled. I searched the forums but couldn’t find a solution that I could understand. The server is hardwired to a WRT54G Linksys router. I tried adjusting the port to a different number than 9999 (9992) but it still doesn’t work 🙁 . Also I had no music in the Music folder so I added just 1 MP3 just in case this was the problem. That also did not work. I do notice an error in the log but I don’t understand what it means or how to fix it. Here is my log file:

Yeah, you need to have some music files on your mp3_dir, which apparently is: C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorMy DocumentsMy Music.

Anyway, I wouldn’t run a service as administrator. If that is compromised, your machine is. So try to restrict it to power user or user once you got it up and running. 😉

Can anybody figure out what the log error message means? Thanks! I do have mp3s in the folder now and it is still not working. 🙁

The line above shows that firefly found no songs.
If the permissions of the songs are wrong, Firefly will not being able to read the songs.

Also, how sure are you that the songs are in the correct directory? You have music placed (.mp3) in the above directory?
