I am a newbie and haven’t found any solution here in the forum yet:
Can anyone tell me where to get a firefly built running well on Mac OS 10.5 Leopard?
The link to the roku page (there was a download link previously) is no longer valid.

I would like to run my pinnacle soundbridge 1001 with iTunes 8 on my macbook pro using firefly and Leopard.

    Thanks in advance

    http://nightlies.fireflymediaserver.org/ and I’d suggest grabbing 1586 as it’s good & stable & works well.

A couple of bug warnings: shorten the name firefly gives itself on first start-up – it bums out with super-long names. Also you may find that it hangs on the first scan – if it looks like that’s happening, let it run a few minutes then stop & restart the server and it should run fine. You should see Firefly running in Bonjour – to access the config file you may be asked for a u/name & p/w. Username leave blank, p/w should be mt-daapd or firefly. You can always access the config file at /yourusername/Library/Application Support/Firefly/firefly.conf

    cheers, Andy

    Thanks Andy,

I already have the built you mentioned. I am waiting for my Leopard/iLife/iWork 09 box and
as soon as I have it I will try to run Firefly on the new system.
Thanks also for the bug warnings – always very helpful as I am not a specialist at all!

    Cheers
    Fro
