    I installed Firefly and configured the server.
    It is running and see over 1000 songs but no playlists.
    None of the Mac or PC client can see the Firefly server – but they can see the iTunes shared folder (version 9.02).
    What am I missing?

    I actually found the problem – it was related to the Ubuntu upgrade.
    Everything started to work after I did a clean install
