I’m trying to setup radio station streams per these instructions: http://wiki.mt-daapd.org/wiki/Streaming_Audio
I can create the .url files and they show up and play in my client (Soundbridge), but I’m having a little trouble with the smart playlist. Using the suggested query, “type includes “URL””, does not pick up any files. I was futzing around and created a file with a .url1 extension and added url1 as a file extension type. Strangely, the smart playlist picked up that file, but it would not play any of the streams in those files.

It’s not a huge deal, since the criteria “url includes “http”” or “fname includes “.url”” seem to do the job. But I was just wondering why “type includes “URL”
” does not work. Does anyone have experience with these? I running 1696. Thanks.
