    Hi!

    Since iTunes 8.1 I cannot access my Firefly server anymore.
    The library is displayed in as a shared library in iTunes as usual, but the instant I select it, the entry disappears until iTunes is restarted.
    Unfortunately the iTunes 8.1.1 update didn’t fix this, so I’m unsure if Apple is willing to fix it at all.
    Does anyone know why this happens? Is there a workaround?

    i use itunes 8.1.1 (e firefly 1696 ) and all seems good

    Thanks for your reply!
    As I just found out, the problem seems to be related to Bonjour.
    I’ve found a solution in this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1937529.
    Now everything seems to be running fine again.
