gdbm.h Errors

    OK so I am new to Linux and have been learning as I go. I am attempting to install Firefly but keep getting this error:

    checking gdbm.h usability… no
    checking gdbm.h presence… no
    checking for gdbm.h… no
    configure: error: gdbm.h not found… try –with-gdbm-includes=dir

    Can anybody help me out or point me in the right direction?
