    Hello,

I have been running firefly as part of the FreeNAS server (0.69RC2) for about a month and just in the last couple of days I have seen this in my logs whenever any client tries to connect:

    Jan 17 00:20:25 kernel: pid 2198 (mt-daapd), uid 0: exited on signal 11
    Jan 17 00:20:25 kernel: pid 2198 (mt-daapd), uid 0 inumber 5160 on /: filesystem full

Here is the information about my disks (df -h)

    $ df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
    /dev/md0 73M 65M 7.8M 89% /
    devfs 1.0K 1.0K 0B 100% /dev
    /dev/ad0p1 226G 181G 27G 87% /mnt/share
    /dev/md1 31M 14K 28M 0% /var
    /dev/da0a 35M 30M 4.4M 87% /cf

I am using a 1gb USB thumb-drive for the OS (FreeBSD 6.4-RELEASE (revision 199506)) and a 250gb disk for music.
Here is the log file as it pertains to daap (if that might be of any use)

Can anyone give me some insight as to what the problem may be and how to resolve? I am new so I ask for patience. I searched this forum for a similar problem and didn’t find anything; the freenas forum had a similar thread to my problem and the advice given was to delete and rebuild the songs.db file. In my case that did not work. Also mentioned was to make sure the daap-service and write permissions but I am not sure exactly how to give those permissions and what directories.

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind Regards,

    Hi,

This was resolved for me once I installed the latest release of FreeNAS (0.69 build 4276). Specifically I was able to change the variable “varsize” from 32mb to 64mb and that appears to resolve my issues. I have a huge iTunes library and it appears that I was filling the filesystem on /var.

Thanks to the firefly team for such a great application! I and my friends and family get a lot of use and enjoyment from it and we really appreciate it!

    Kind Regards,

    -=fearless=-
