Server running mt-daapd 0.9~r1696.dfsg-2 from Ubuntu Intrepid repositories.
Client Ubuntu Intrepid, with both Rhythmbox and Service Discovery Applet.

I have configured mt-daapd with servername “Musica en %h”, but when i browse with either Rhythmbox or Service Discovery Applet i see two _daap services, the one i configured and one called “Daap”. They both actually map to same server. I looked into Avahi traffic with Wireshark, and the server is actually publishing with both names:

Musica en XXX._http._tcp.local: type SRV, class IN, cache flush, priority 0, weight 0, port 3689, target XXX.local
Daap._daap._tcp.local: type SRV, class IN, cache flush, priority 0, weight 0, port 3689, target XXX.local

Any pointer to how get rid of the extra service?
